Laser Hair Reduction
If you have excessive hair on your face or body, it may feel like you’re spending a lot more time shaving and waxing than you’d like. Ditch the razor and the hassle with GentleMax Pro laser hair removal.
What is the GentleMax Pro?
The GentleMax Pro is a laser designed for safe, comfortable, quick hair removal in patients of all skin tones. In addition to hair removal, the GentleMax Pro can be an excellent treatment for veins, including broken capillaries and spider veins of the face and legs.
How Does GentleMax Pro Work?
The GentleMax Pro works by delivering a gentle burst of light to multiple hair follicles at once, effectively damaging the hair follicle and slowing hair growth. The laser targets the follicle by detecting pigment in the hair, therefore only dark hair can be treated (for the same reason, it is important not to pluck or wax during the duration of your treatments).
The GentleMax Pro’s patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) simultaneously provides air cooling for a comfortable treatment, however, a topical numbing cream may be applied 15-30 minutes before treatment to further minimize discomfort.
Am I a Good Candidate for GentleMax Pro?
You’re a good candidate for GentleMax Pro if you have excessive facial and/or body hair, or just want to ditch the razor for good. GentleMax Pro can be used on a variety of areas, including the upper lip, legs, bikini line, underarms, and back, and is safe for use on all skin types.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?*
Treatment time will vary depending on the size of the area being treated — treating the underarms can be as quick as 15-20 minutes while treating the full legs can take up to an hour. Patients generally return every 4-6 weeks for a series of treatments, depending on their hair growth cycle.

What Results Will I See?*
Most patients can expect to see a slowing and reduction of hair growth after a few sessions, with a significant reduction apparent after a series of at least five treatments. Depending on factors such as hormones, diet, and quality of hair, some patients may require more treatments.
Is There Any Downtime?
Patients may experience mild redness and swelling in the treated area in the hours following treatment. Most people return to normal activity directly after the procedure, however, avoiding any sun exposure to the treated area is imperative both before and after treatment, and a physical SPF 50 should be worn at all times.
