Intense Pulsed Light Therapy

IPL Technology, also referred to as Photofacial, improves the appearance of photo-aged skin,  age spots (sun-induced freckles), most benign brown pigments, and redness caused by broken capillaries through a process called Photo Rejuvenation for face and body.

IPL in now Retired in our office – We’re moving up to better and longer-lasting options

IPL for many years was very useful for its designated purpose, but Dr. Pilest has found over the years that treatments using different technologies and products typically produce better and longer-lasting results. For that reason our practice is no longer offering Intense Pulsed Light treatments.

Since each patient has unique needs, a personalized consultation will give you the absolute best recommendations to help you find the right treatment for your skin and your lifestyle.

Instead of IPL, you may wish to consider Silk Peel Permea, Clear + Brilliant, Micro Needliing, Fraxel DUAL or AlexLazr. Your skin tone, amount of pigmentation and/or redness will determine the most effective course of action.

Do you wish to reduce diffuse red and brown discolorations?

Consider these wide varieties of skin conditions:

  • sun damage
  • flushing
  • rough skin texture
  • redness / broken capillaries
  • brown spots / age spots
  • sun-induced freckles on the hands, chest, and face
  • fine wrinkles and pore appearance
