Eye Rejuvenation Treatments
They say the eyes are the window to the soul — and right now, perhaps your soul is looking a little tired! If you’re dealing with wrinkles and under-eye bags, our eye rejuvenation options can help you look more well-rested, even if you don’t quite feel it.
What is Eye Rejuvenation?
The skin around the eyes is some of the thinnest and most delicate skin found on the body, and therefore can be prone to age much quicker. Eye rejuvenation refers to a number of treatments that are used to relax wrinkles, minimize under-eye bags and hollows, and firm and smooth both the upper and lower eyelids.
How Does Eye Rejuvenation Work?
At Total Dermatology, we offer a wide range of eye rejuvenation treatments, including:
- Neurotoxins for wrinkles: Botox, Dysport or
Xeomin is injected around the eyes to smooth “crow’s feet” and provide a subtle brow lift.
- Under-Eye Filler for bags and hollows: Hyaluronic acid filler such as Restylane or Belotero
is carefully placed in the tear trough area to help improve volume loss and unflattering shadowing.
- Radiofrequency for laxity and crepey-ness: Lifts drooping eyelids, and firms and smooths the delicate skin around the eyes non-invasively via Thermage or iFine
Am I a Good Candidate for Eye Rejuvenation?
You’re a good candidate for eye rejuvenation if you feel you look tired due to under-eye bags and hollows, crow’s feet, and/or sagging eyelids, but aren’t ready to go under the knife.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Treatment length will depend on the eye rejuvenation procedure recommended; injections can take up to 20 minutes to perform, while Thermage or iFine can take 30-45 minutes.
What Results Will I See?*
Results will vary depending on the treatment performed but can include reduced under-eye bags and hollows, smoothing of wrinkles and crepey-ness, and firmer, more lifted eyelids. Injection results are usually visible within 1-2 weeks, while full results from radiofrequency treatment such as Thermage or iFine can be seen 4-6 months following treatment.
Is There Any Downtime?
Unlike surgery, downtime from our eye rejuvenation options involves little to no downtime. With injectables, you can anticipate some temporary redness and swelling at the injection site, in addition to the possibility of bruising. Radiofrequency treatments such as Thermage and iFine involve no downtime whatsoever.
