"I'm one of Dr. Pilest's long time patients, seeing him for my first time in 1990, I believe, when he was in Fountain Valley. It seems I've grown with him, as well as his practice.

My first Botox treatment was just about 8 years ago and prior to FDA approval of Botox, I was having Collagen injections and numerous other 'cutting edge' procedures. As new procedures are developed, I'm willing to try them, with Dr. Pilest always recommending what the most appropriate procedure for my skin type will be.

Fast forward and this brings me to Thermage. It's been about 2-1/2 months since I had my Thermage (face & neck) treatment done. What I've noticed, is a gradual firmness in my cheek, jawline and under my chin area. There's one area that I've been checking regularly and that's the area where my jawline meets the front of my ears. A friend of mine swears she can tell a woman's age by counting the number of small wrinkles that run vertically in this area (much like a trees age can be determined by counting it's rings)!! So, of course, that's where I check weekly... to see if the lines are less noticeable .... and I'm happy to say, they are !!

Because I have a condition known as Vitiligo, I need to be very careful with the procedures that I undergo. They must be gentle enough not to make my condition more noticeable.
