Isolaz Procedure Details

Isolaz is acne reduction treatment that does not incorporate any type of prescription products. Instead, the procedure is based on mechanics of suction and the use of medical light.

The skin is prepped, then the Isolaz system vacuums the pores of collected debris, dead skin cells and oil. Once the pore is clear, a broadband light is used to kill bacteria on the surface of the skin and deep within the pore.

By removing the food source for bacteria and reducing the bacteria count, the skin is less prone to repeat breakouts. For adequate improvement and a break in the acne cycle, a series of Isolaz treatments are recommended.

The treatment is not significantly uncomfortable and does not require topical numbing. You are able to return to your normal activities right away, though you may expereince some slight redness or swellling.
